Next Steps
Process Question for Teams:
Discuss as a team what some of the "demotivating factors" might be in your church or organization that are affecting the morale and inspiration of your team members or staff. These factors may be sensitive to talk about, so encourage each other to be willing to go beyond the surface level. Once you’ve identified at least one or two factors, decide together on one next step you can take to start to address them.
Process Question for Individuals:
Reflect on the extent to which you are taking personal responsibility for your own motivation. Take a few minutes to journal your thoughts. Identify one thing that you should be doing and aren't, and commit to taking a step in that area in the next week.
For more processing questions like these, reserve your copy of The Leadership Summit 2007 Team Edition on DVD.

Brian McLaren Responds to Session 10from Ray PelletierMuch of my life and ministry have been profoundly influenced and shaped by Bill Hybels and Brian McLaren. Bill Hybels inspired in me an Acts 2 vision for what the church is supposed to be that has haunted and blessed me since my very first day of ministry almost fifteen years ago. Brian McLaren's words and example have helped me understand the radical shifts our world is undergoing and have given me hope that a new kind of Christian can do a new kind of good in the world -- and somehow, none of that is new.
